Firebroiled: We know for certain, for instance,
that for some reason,
for some time in the beginning,
there were hot lumps.

Cold and lonely,
they whirled noiselessly through the black holes of space.

These insignificant lumps came together to form the first union
-- our Sun, the heating system.

And about this glowing gasbag rotated the Earth,
a cat’s-eye amoung aggies,
blinking in astonishment across the Face of Time . . .

Principalpoop: wb M
Dexter Fong: Merlyn shrunk!!
Merlyn: I think I'll go to The Sitting Room and kill johanna, that number looks like a spammer
||||||||| Merlyn walks away to The Sitting Room.
AnimalLovingTweeny: If you do IRC, you can always chat with clem and bambi at: http://www.cniradio.com/chatwithus.html
llanwydd: just a million emails announcing johanna's arrival
cease: jo was a bug?
||||||||| Merlyn climbs in through the window at the ungodly hour of 10:28 PM
Dexter Fong: That's twice he went after her
AnimalLovingTweeny: Honey, I Shrunk The Merlyn
Merlyn: Glad you didn't have to see that
Dexter Fong: Or maybe, she got him and took his Identity
Principalpoop: murderer! murderer!
Bunnyboy: I wonder if jo knows Mook?
cease: whatrs this abvout whidbey, merl?
Principalpoop: Dial M for Murder hehe
Merlyn: Bergman told me today he's moving there
Dexter Fong: Merlyn: Actually, some of us might even have paid to see it
Principalpoop: oops he is moving, not just thinking?
llanwydd: dial m for myrtle
cease: completely?
Dexter Fong: dial crep for crepe myrtle
cease: the teaching kids radio skills lgig is over?
Principalpoop: myrtle 5 4691
Merlyn: how about a straw poll: would you pay like $9.95 a month for a member-section of firesigntheatre.com that had new audio from the guys?
Principalpoop: what kind of pron comes with that?
Principalpoop: i only pay for pron on the net
Dexter Fong: prawn?
AnimalLovingTweeny: Got a taker here, Merl
cease: maybe not enough for them to generate enough to live on
Merlyn: hmm, hard to come up with pron
Principalpoop: no, no shrimps, only legal aged
Dexter Fong: Colassal Shrimp
cease: but if you mean live stuff plus archived stuff, it might have a year's run.
cease: just my opinion, merl
Principalpoop: a new audio, from all 4, each month? i would pay that...
Merlyn: I don't think he's shooting for full-time, cat, just enough to make it worth doing
AnimalLovingTweeny: Like the NPR bits, maybe?
Merlyn: PP, it probably wouldn't always be all 4 for each
Dexter Fong: Well even if everyone who's been in chat for the last year subscribed, it ain't very much
Merlyn: maybe, tweeny, it's still up in the air
Principalpoop: how much for live stream? and requests? hehe
Merlyn: not much, true, dex, but the firesign email list has 2100 names
Merlyn: Bergman said it probably wouldn't be live, but downloads
Dexter Fong: How active is the list?
Merlyn: can't really say, dex, I send out announcements is all, no real feedback
cease: can he generate ;enough content to get an audience, merl?
Dexter Fong: That's kinda like life Merlyn
Bunnyboy: Chef Pron
Principalpoop: lol 1000 are still going to emails at prodigy.net
cease: i would be amazed if that happened
Merlyn: only 6, PP
AnimalLovingTweeny: Well, float it with the paople on the news list, and see what sort of feedback you get
Merlyn: I'm assuming it's only been the firesign email list that has sold tickets to the October shows; Saturday looks prety good so far in tickets sold
AnimalLovingTweeny: and then float it with the people
Principalpoop: so you do get feedback, that is ok then
Dexter Fong: And if it siks, they're witches
Merlyn: you can look at it by starting at fst.com and trying to buy a ticket, it shows you the sold seats
AnimalLovingTweeny: Well folks, I'm off to the boob tube for a while. Until last time, again...
Principalpoop: ciao tween
Dexter Fong: Night Tweeny
Merlyn: I can only assume it's the mailing list PP, I don't know if any other public announcements have been made yet
Merlyn: ok tween

cease: fans must be thrillled , merl
cease: by tween
Merlyn: also, yes, there would probably be rare old bits showing up too

Merlyn: I thought this was pretty neat: http://strangemaps.wordpress.com/2009/07/27/402-homeland-is-where-the-heartland-is/
llanwydd: I don't feel it by the way
Principalpoop: another 250 families lost a breadwinner when another factory closed, ouch
Merlyn: well, my son graduated with a BS in computer science about 4 years ago and still hasn't gotten a job
llanwydd: BS isn't popular nowadays
Principalpoop: have him get a masters lol
Principalpoop: may not get a job, but keeps him busy
cease: i thinka lot of alaskan hearts will be better off without her
llanwydd: I take it that's bachelor of seance?
Principalpoop: at least he had a chance when he got out, all i had was a BS in sociology
cease: lol ll
Dexter Fong: And you're one of the most social guys I know
Principalpoop: emile durkheim did something

cease: proc reamins in the hills
llanwydd: which hills, cat?
cease: yes merl, you would think so
Merlyn: Proc said I can stay at his place during the October shows!
Dexter Fong: I find a certain irony in the fact that in one of the Dear Friends shows, that improvised a little bit based on the recession that hit Seattle where "everybody is outta woik (sic) in Seattle
llanwydd: they never come up into the hills, these guys
cease: beverly hills
llanwydd: aha
