Bambi: lol
Dexter Fong: who anly eats geese
Dexter Fong: in a row boat
Dexter Fong: whisl the fox watches from a farther shore

Dexter Fong: but if you have a nice garden beefsteak tomato, a lovely 3/5 of an inch slice would ber most welcome
cease: Fumiyo has a great salmon recipe involving shitake, spinache, ginger and broth that is amazing with good fish. this was very good fish
Bambi: actually pecans, raw pumpkin seeds and dates
llanwydd: I had a big tomato this morning but I made ratatouille

llanwydd: I remember that one, Bambi
llanwydd: I used to love One Step Beyond
doctecazoid: on smartphone, the chat equivalent of 7 second delay
cease: yes i remember that odd fact, bambi
Hemlock Scones: it was an early method used in the sixties to show movies on TV. , basically you line up a camera focused on the movie or documentary thentelecast it live vrom your cam or web cam. works well if you have a good screen and a fast web link. some of my best copyright infnringment is done this way

Merlyn: I shot my load
doctecazoid: i'm being told by the powers that be to prepare for more products added to firesale ... including ebay auctions
Dexter Fong: Merlyn: Claim self defense and temporary madness brough on by an attack of the Fiddlers
Bambi: did you have to mention golden parachutes lol when so many are struggling to live, just really ticks me off (golden parachutes)

||||||||| A time machine materializes at 9:45 PM and Bunnyboy bounds out, carrying a grape from ancient Greece.
Bunnyboy: Doooooooooooooook!
llanwydd: hi Bunnyboy
Bunnyboy shambles like a zombie.

Dexter Fong: "plop Plop?" That's the sound of bear whiz
llanwydd: oh, spicy meatball. that was the one where he kept flubbing his lines. it's coming back to me
Bunnyboy: They got Speedy (a 50s icon), singin' the 70s jingle...and giving up a 21st century fist-bump.
Bambi: ah, yellow is now green (battery plugged in now)
llanwydd: well, the threats of violence were only figures of speech
llanwydd: we all knew alice wasn't going to the moon
Bunnyboy: Or the sound of Miracle No-Gro.
cease: like on the sopranos, llan?
llanwydd: I'm not too familiar with the sopranos

Dexter Fong: Hey elayne

Elayne: Evenin' all! Sorry I'm a bit late, Robin needed to finish up a bit of work in this room and I didn't want the smoke to disturb him.

llanwydd: happy Next to First Night
Elayne: I'm very pleased, decided to try the YouTube video that Brian sent to the mailing list, from the Thom Hartmann show, on my new smartphone.
Bambi: better late than never
Elayne: The smartphone can't do games like Angry Birds, not enough processing power, but it's fine with audio and video.
Merlyn: that nick danger bit was all improv
Dexter Fong: Hi tere Clem
Merlyn: hi E
Bunnyboy: yo El!
ah,clem: hi
Resident-ElectTweeny: Hello clem

Bunnyboy: Wasn't that Superman's cousin? Yo-El?
llanwydd: I'd love to see them do an improv of ND
Elayne: He's a long-time fan, even drew me a couple Firesign-y comic strips back when I was doing INSIDE JOKE.
llanwydd: and I don't mean north dakota

llanwydd: dofu is one pronunciation of tofu
cease: it doenst matter who knows or not. the joke would only be between us.
llanwydd: they say it in some parts of china
Dexter Fong: Because you're playing with your "smart" phone
cease: yes, it is a traditional tofu dish. with pork.
cease: but that has nothing to do with this chicken dish.
Bambi: chicken that tastes ike tofu?
Dexter Fong: or (Surprise) chicken
Bambi: not sure that would be an improvement
Elayne: Oh well, that certainly clears EVERYTHING up...
Elayne: Like mud!
cease: it is not in the realm of food, bambi
llanwydd: tofu tastes like water
Dexter Fong: Yep
Dexter Fong: Like sand better
llanwydd: have a piece of water
Elayne likes tofu.

Elayne: Probably spend an hour or so tomorrow morning digging my car out of the snow surrounding it.
cease: fantastic news, el
cease: isnt it getting warmer there?
cease: i hope your back can handle all that digging.
Elayne: Let's hope so, should make the shoveling easier. We have a couple feet of snow to get through in places...
Elayne: I won't be doing too much of it, just in the back of the car.
llanwydd: well, I must be going. Everybody have a happy First Night AND a Happy New Year!
Dexter Fong: I still say it'[s "Last night" llan
ah,clem: nn LL

Resident-ElectTweeny: You too, LL
Dexter Fong: But happy new year to you sir
Elayne: Bye Llan! Happy wappy!
Bunnyboy: Happy happy, llan!
Merlyn: that was a joke about the first reprint of Electrician cutting off the first few seconds of the album
Dexter Fong: Tween: That workstopage story is bull shit. The fact is the new deputy mayor )foormerly mayor of indianapolis) nrefused to call a snow emergency and was out of town]
ah,clem: yes, that pregnant pause is important
ah,clem: sets the mood
Bunnyboy: Merlyn: Right! That's still my digital copy.
ah,clem: lol BB
Bunnyboy: ...border...
Dexter Fong: Tween: He's also been getting rid of CITY WORKERS AND "privatsing" the city services
Elayne: Meanwhile Dex, out of Newark you have Cory Booker shoveling along with the crews. Can't he be our mayor, please?
cease: bloomburg would rather sell broadway tickets, el
Merlyn: here's the bit you're missing BB: http://www.firesigntheatre.com/albums/ThisIsSide5.mp3
Bunnyboy: Pity me. I (very occasionally) help edit WikiRoccoco...and I'm working the material chronologically.
Merlyn: XM radio hated all the references to "degraded audio" even though they were jokes about how Phil A. was calling it in because he couldn't make it to the studio
ah,clem: we all do our part, BB
Bunnyboy: My next entry should be Stop N. Coolit, from LE TRENTE HUIT CUNEGONDE.
Bunnyboy: That's how far I've gotten, in a little over a year.
cease: when will they make the 39th of cunegonde?
Bunnyboy: I gotta get serious about setting up CamelCase cut-and-paste sidesheets...
Dexter Fong: You can't make the 39th of Cunegonde, it's an ideal
Bunnyboy: cat: When the balls make the street.
Dexter Fong: and there's dancing down the plazas
Bunnyboy: You can lead a horticulture, but you can't make her think. - Dorothy Parker

Resident-ElectTweeny: XM was wonderful
Dexter Fong: Cat: But Clem's listening at the source...the place where it all comes out and doesn't have to go back in

cease: so you can keep the firesing from saying fuck? that got them fired
cease: this is almost unknown to me, though i ahve the cds
Dexter Fong: cAT: iS THAT WHAT HAPPENED?
Dexter Fong: sirry
Merlyn: dex is wearing his cap backwards again
ah,clem: well, Dwarf did have a warning on the back...
cease: often, dex
Resident-ElectTweeny: Surry?
Dexter Fong: And upside down
cease: they were frequently censored. only made them more radical, which decreases their commercial value, also pursued at the time
Dexter Fong: I meant their departure form Sirius or XM?
cease: i heard dward when it was first broadcast on kppc in 1970 before the album was actually out
Merlyn: Firesign left XM because the pay was so low
cease: there was a lot of shit about the fucks with the station. their gig soon ended
cease: dave had mentioned they were at an impassed on regotiaoins when i asked him about that

||||||||| Fire-the-NewYear enters at 3:13 AM as Catherwood takes their hat and goat and runs off to the Haberdashery Barn.
Fire-the-NewYear:

The True White Brother is coming home.

Remember what the Great Spirit said?

If we did what we were supposed to do,
and lived according to The Plan,
White Brother would finish his work
in the East
and come back to us

You haven’t heard nothing yet.
I’ve got right here in this car,
for your trans-Atlantic driving pleasure,
this fully hallicrafted
Sea-Master
short-wave radio
in this non-returnable,
non-disposable
zinc-lined carrying case!

Nice feel.
Let’s see . . .

[sings to himself]

“Oh how can you be

in two places at once

when you’re not anywhere

at a-a-all!” . . .

Fire-the-NewYear:

Ah, my bony boy!

In the Estonian Mountains,
we used to go to sleep
leaning up against a wind-fall.

I was but a mere pratt then.

I’ll never forget the time
a snake slithered
into my wife!

I wasn’t but knee-high
to a married grasshopper then.

Never saw the woman again. . .

Fire-the-NewYear:

Easy,
easy,
my lad.

At times of dexterity
like this,

my wee native compendium
Mohameet
used to pray to the divinities.

His little brown froggy body
a-quiver at my loines,
chanting a strream of ancient Egyptshine holograms . . .

||||||||| Fire-the-NewYear says "Catherwood, call me a cab." After the obvious joke, Fire-the-NewYear exits at 3:15 AM.
||||||||| Catherwood enters, and announces to all and sundry "It's 4:32 AM, time to change the log file and clean out unused rooms; please exit the chat room for a minute or two. Thank you for your patience."
